First Intellectual Output
The YMEC project № 2016-2-BG01-KA205-023931, under the Erasmus + Program, has been completed the first Intellectual output “Assessment tool for youth skills in management”
The aim of online assessment tool was to build the tool of communication among youth and labour market via active participation of each party in one solution that give essential information of skills and competences of individual.
The assessment tool can be used horizontal and vertical – from individual young user, VET provider, job advisor or even parents to employers, moreover it can be the same useful for youngsters from every European country. That’s why all groups have been involved in project activities in direct or indirect way.
In order to have project product that can be disseminated widely online tool was translated into national languages of all partner’s organizations – Bulgarian, Italian, Polish, Romanian, Lithuanian (http://ymec.eu/platform/ ).
After the initial form of online tool has been developed each of partners will invite 20 young people to test the online solution and fill in satisfaction survey in order to give feedback how to improve tool and make it more attractive.
The project consortium provided second and third evaluation phase – on youth workers (3 per country) and 5 representatives of employers.
Leader of this task Eduforma Srl. is experienced in development of assessment tools. Within the 1st phase of the project the Italian partner shared knowledge and best practices developed at national level in order to define starting point for YMEC activities.
The first task for implementation and development of this intellectual output was to prepare a matrix of functional competences in managerial skills – as a reference point of next project activities.
Defining skills and competences related to management in target group assures that next steps of our project will be tailored to the real needs of young society as well as simply recognized by employers.
The second task step was to define content of the self- assessment tool. The scope of assessment should covers theoretical and practical aspects in order to give feedback which elements should be improved and what kind of methods are the most suitable.
The last phase was the technical development of the online tool

For the right development of the self-assessment tool Teza has the obligation to set up the YMEC platform – the fourth intellectual output. Each user has to go through simply registration procedure so consortium can be aware of number of people that are interested in Intellectual outcomes developed within project. Design and create database allows access to at least 5,000 active users; Design and creation of four (4) specialized software modules integrated end users- young people, youth workers and managers. The design of web platform is according to the basic requirements – Simplified (for amateurs), customizable accessibility, maintaining mobility; variability (adjustable).
The first intellectual product and the creation of an interactive platform for the use of this product strengthen the communication between the partners.
The total number of participants who registered and gave feedback on the developed the “Assessment tool for youth skills in management” reached 140 participants.
